Pitbulls are used nowadays as police, military, service dogs, rescuers, therapy dogs, search dogs and livestock workers. As far as the temperament of the breed is concerned, these
very friendly and loyal animals that are good with children and other pets if they are raised
together.
Although the dog’s breeding was originally to be a fighter and a participant
of the bloody shows where there was the only one dog that survived while the
other battled to death, nowadays they are good companions and working dogs. They are very playful and eager to help their owners.
Pitbulls - Pictures - Basic Characteristics
Pitbulls have a heavy substance; good bones and muscle mass. The head is extreme and the chest without compromise to proper movement and conformation. This is the most loyal breed of dog on the planet;
its selective breeding was for tremendous athletic ability with protective qualities and an outstanding willingness to please.
The dog has the right amount of gameness without compromising terrific temperament and wonderful personality. Although the dog's
breeding was to be a fighter, it has a great amount of intelligence and, therefore, nowadays makes a good companion, pet dog and a natural guard dog.
It's a documented fact that pound for pound the American Pitbull Terrier is the strongest and most athletic breed of dog in the world. With thick overbearing females that surpass most males, the American Pitbull Terriers are the ultimate dog breed. Pitbulls deserve a new consideration.
